Timothy Anthony

Ph.D. Student

Timothy Anthony is a graduate student in the Division for Late Medieval and
Reformation Studies. He comes from Xenia, Ohio, and earned his B.A. in History with minors in
German and Classics from Wright State University and his M.A. in History from the University
of Cincinnati.

Timothy’s current work focuses on the social history of German villages during the
Reformation Era. He seeks to understand how villagers and village communes interacted and
negotiated with rulers in different territories.
